Admission Procedure

Pulliman Matriculation Higher Secondary School follows a transparent and merit-based admission process to ensure equal opportunity for all aspiring students. Admissions are open to students from Pre-KG to Grade XII, subject to seat availability and eligibility criteria as per Tamil Nadu State Board norms.

Phase 1 – General Admission (Month of May)
Admissions are open for Kindergarten (Pre-KG, LKG, UKG), Classes I to IX, and Class XI. Applications are issued and processed during the month of May every academic year.
Phase 2 – Vijayadasami Admission (Special Intake)
A limited intake is conducted for Kindergarten alone during the Vijayadasami festival season. This is based on demand and special request from parents in the locality.

Eligibility Criteria

For Pre-KG: Children must have completed 2 years and 6 months as on 1st June of the academic year.
For LKG: Minimum age is 3 years and 6 months as on 1st June.
Admission to other grades will be based on submission of previous academic records and availability of seats.

Documents Required (Photocopy/Xerox)

Student’s Aadhaar card
Student’s passport-size photographs (recent)
Birth Certificate of the child
Community Certificate (if applicable)
Parent’s Aadhaar card
Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from the previously attended school (mandatory for Classes II and above)

Admission Process

Parents/Guardians must collect and fill out the application form from the school office or download it via the official communication channel.
Completed applications should be submitted along with relevant documents. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
For Grade I and above, student interaction or assessment may be conducted to understand the child’s learning level and readiness.
Selected candidates will be informed through phone call or school notice board. On confirmation, parents must pay the admission and term fees within the stipulated deadline to secure the seat.
Admission will be confirmed only after document verification and approval from the Principal.

Note for Class XI Admissions

Class XI stream allotment is based on Class X board exam results and career preferences of the student.
Counseling support is available for parents and students to guide them in selecting the appropriate stream (Science, Commerce, or Humanities).

Special Guidelines

Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.
The school reserves the right to accept or reject applications based on the availability of seats and fulfillment of criteria.
Any false information or forged documents will lead to immediate cancellation of admission.

Please ensure all details submitted are true and valid. False claims can result in disqualification.
